Rocketship Scholars: It’s all about the Tools!

Weeks 4 and 5 of the SaaS Trial Rocketship program have been incredible. Let’s break it down and have a look at each module.
Module 4: Implementing a Customer Journey Playbook.
This module showed me how easy setting up a product-led growth drip campaign can be. The events were sent effortlessly to customer.io. Which hasn't necessarily been the case with other tools in the market.
It became clear that choosing the right tools to support product-led growth is critical in your implementation.
Module 5: Refining your Playbook: Trial signup
This was a busy week for me: we had numerous days off, I fell ill, and we had a major product release upcoming. Despite this, the course content and the tools made it easy for me to set up the destination, flow through data and start implementing my first funnel analysis.
I look forward to seeing how we can use funnel analytics, and Amplitude for experimentation and iteration. When working for a startup, cost is always an important factor so it was fantastic to see that there is a free tool for analytics available on the market.
In review, these 2 weeks have clearly built upon our learning from the previous modules. We can start to see how source data from specific tools can shape the customer journey and decision making with two downstream tools.
